OUR HISTORY

A Cambridge Heritage

The buildings that form The Centennial Hotel were constructed before 1900 using traditional Cambridge brickwork. In the early 20th century, the townhouses were used as railway lodges for workers and locomotive superintendents during the expansion of Cambridge’s railway network.

Over time the buildings evolved into the charming hotel they are today, retaining their historic character while being carefully adapted for modern guests.

Today, The Centennial continues to welcome visitors from around the world, offering a stay that reflects both the heritage and hospitality of Cambridge.
